“Laying the poppy on a fallen soldier’s headstone and having a moment of silence really made me put myself in the shoes of their family and even the shoes of that soldier. How they all set out to fight for my freedom not knowing what lay ahead for them really touched me. Then also thinking of their families and how I could only imagine the feeling of your own child leaving not knowing if they would return home or if you would ever see them again.”

“When I pulled up at the cemetery and noticed that every single gravestone had a poppy just as in previous years… it just made my heart so happy. No one was forgotten. I just had to reach out and thank you so sincerely for making this happen. Such a beautiful tribute. I cannot express my gratitude enough.”
