Commemorative Events 2024
Across Canada and beyond, inspired students, educators, groups and individuals held commemorations honouring Canadian veterans with the uniquely personal act of placing a poppy on their headstone. And this beautiful tribute happened in greater numbers than ever before.
This year 13,469 students from 217 communities honoured 123,687 veterans in 327 events across 9 countries.
